The Annual North Carolina Masonry Contractors Association Apprentice Masonry Skills Contest was held May 22, 2010.

New NCMCA Champion Cory Huneycutt is eighteen-years-old and will be headed to Western Carolina University to study Construction Management when he graduates Mount Pleasant High School in the spring of 2010. He is the son of Rick Huneycutt and Anita Maddaluna, and lives in Mount Pleasant, NC. Twenty-five vocational students and NCMCA apprentices from eight NCMCA member firms participated at the contest hosted by McGee Brothers Company in Midland, NC.
