OSHA will issue a ruling and letter in the upcoming year regarding MCAA's request to repeal the glove requirement for masons.

MCAA has received word from OSHA that a ruling and letter will be issued in the upcoming year regarding our request to repeal the glove requirement for masons. We have been told that the repeal will allow for contractors to decide if gloves are necessary on the job site. Contractors would not be cited for this issue under the proposed change.

As soon as the ruling has been made official and the MCAA receives the letter, members will be notified and the OSHA letter will be forwarded to all.
