Announcing MCAA RSS Feeds
By Tim O’Toole

RSS feeds are now available on the Mason Contractors Association of America's website, www.masoncontractors.org. Currently, our website is offering two RSS feeds, one for the Masonry Headlines section (updated daily) and one for The Fact of the Matter, Executive Director Michael Adelizzi's blog.
RSS is an XML-based system that allows users to subscribe to various news feeds from their favorite websites. A feed reader can check a list of feeds and download and display any updated articles it finds. RSS feeds can also be formatted and displayed on other websites.
There are several feed reader programs available to download for free around the World Wide Web. Additionally, some browsers including Opera and the soon to be released Internet Explorer 7 contain built-in RSS support. Also, a few websites such as Yahoo and Google allow users to subscribe to and read RSS feeds through their sites. MCAA has added links on our website to allow you to easily subscribe to our RSS feeds, regardless of which medium you are using to view them.
RSS is yet another strong communication tool the Association is using to deliver daily updates on important news and information affecting the MCAA and the entire masonry industry. Look for more new and exciting additions to our website in the near future.
