Illegal Immigrant Raid

On Tuesday, May 9th Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) Agents raided 3 Fischer Home Construction sites in Kentucky. As a result of the raid, Agents took four of the Fischer Homes construction site supervisors into custody as well as 76 illegal immigrant workers.

This is part of an overall effort to "crack down" on illegal immigrant workers. ICE could potentially target large construction sites around the country in an effort to make an example of some companies. This comes as the Immigration debate regains momentum, the Immigration Reform bill is set to be debated again in the Senate beginning on Monday May 15th.
