CMACN Executive Director Search

By Masonry

The Concrete Masonry Association of California and Nevada (CMACN) began its search for a new executive director and plans to have the position filled during the first half of 2006.

Paul D. Bambauer, current executive director, announced the decision to become CEO of an architectural products company in California. Bambauer will manage the search process during the transitional phase between 2005 and mid-2006.

The executive director's position covers many market activities, including supporting CMACN's administrative office in Sacramento, where publications are processed and programs are administrated. A strong office manager provides the executive director the opportunity to reside elsewhere in the California market, supporting the work of architects, engineers, builders, state and municipal officials working with reinforced concrete masonry. A strong background in marketing and communications is desired, along with experience in architecture, engineering specification and website management.

Interested candidates should send a resume to: Paul Bambauer, 6060 Sunrise Vista Drive, Citrus Heights, CA 95610. Bambauer will coordinate the interview process with the CMACN executive committee in early 2006.

CMACN represents manufacturers of concrete masonry units used in the reinforced concrete masonry market of California and Nevada.
